Hi guys,

I have this software (Ivory Viewer) installed on workstations at work. Everytime a new user logs in and open the program it ask for the Office 2000 cd (one time occurance for the user who logs in). New person would ask again. Without Office 2000 installed on the pc, it works fine without prompting for the office cd.

I have tried to intalled all the office 2000 components on the hard-drive, but still the problem exits.

Background on the progam (Ivory Viewer)installed on windows 2000 is that I have to give everyone who logs in the privilege of a Power User or local administrator. They need access to the registry. Thats what I was told by the tech. If I don't do this, it will have some 'run time errror'. Any ideas would be appreciate.

Just try to solve the problem with Office 2000 being prompted.

Tony

Try this:

Remove O2k totally, login as Administrator, install fresh O2k, then open up all O2k applications, register product or not is upto you and then close when you are happy with the installation. Once this is done, logout and login as a user and try office applications. Hopefully this should work.
