I am running W2K Pro with MS Office 2000 Premium. I have recently installed the SR1-a and SP2 updates for my Office suite.

Here's the problem: when I open any Office application, it closes within 10 seconds, usually around 5.

Has anyone else experienced this problem before? Is there a way to fix this without uninstalling the updates or must I do that?

Thank you for your time.

I don't know if it will fix the problem but there is a SP3 @ windows update. If that don't work reinstall office on top of itself.
