Comment:

I am running under w2k - sp4. I noticed that the My Documents folder is building up a considerable amount of mirror subfolders which exist in other partitions of the pc. If I delete a subfolder of My Documents, the original is also deleted.

This situation is relatively new. I must have activated some sort of feature.

How can I avoid getting those subfolders in My Documents?

What other partitions are the "mirrors" located? Are you sure it's not actually your My Documents folder, which can be pointed to any location on your drive...???

For Example, if you go to My Documents/Properties, it will show the location of your "My Documents." In my case, it's F:\, so My Documents is pointed to F, which is also my My Documents folder. It's not a mirror; it's the exact same location.
