When I try to add users to a group either by opening the user properties and trying to add them through the Members Of tab or by opening the group properties and trying to add them through the members tab, I get an error message stating that "Object Picker cannot open because no locations from which to choose objects could be found."
I should note this doesn't happen on all of the DC's. I can log into a different DC, manipulate group membership to my heart's content, and then wait fifteen minutes for it to propagate through the domain. But why can't I do it on some of them?
Of course, I tried looking up the error message on MS support site and the two hits I got were (surprise!) no help.
Thanks,
Zhora

I got a lot more than two hits. Have you tried these?

Jennifer,
Thanks for your response. In answer, yes, I've looked at them.
The first and third url's you posted were the two I looked at already and did what they recommended on all 6 DC's. The second one is a different error message dealing with making an incorrect choice of locations. My error message is that there are no locations to choose.
The fourth one I saw, but didn't try. My only experience with a debugger was using Visual Studio .Net. Somehow I don't think that's what they mean and it's not installed on this server in any case. I went ahead and modified the registry but I can't figure out how to view the output. I don't have a debugger installed (that I know of) and there doesn't appear to be a dbgview application on the hard drive (support tools are installed) as the KB article would suggest.
Does anyone know how I would go about viewing the output?
Thanks everyone,
Zhora
