NumLock deactivated

Every time I start up win 2000 the NumLock key deactivates itself and I have to press it to use the numeric part of the keyboard. That's not a very big problem, but it's very irritating. Does someone have a clue?

You need to edit the registry. See (Q154529)from Microsoft. Here are the instructions.
To enable NUM LOCK before a user logs on, use the steps below.
Run Registry Editor (Regedt32.exe).
Navigate to HKEY_USERS\.Default\Control Panel\Keyboard.
Change the value for InitialKeyboardIndicators from 0 to 2.

If you are going to edit your Registry just remember to back it up, you could screw your system up pretty bad if you type something in wrong
