NTLDR is missing

CPU/Ram: 512 MB
Product: Dell: Inspiron 8000

I can boot Win2k without problems. When I make ERD in Backup and reboot with this floppy, I get NTLDR is missing.
What's wrong?

Nothing - the ERD isn't bootable. You have to boot using the Recovery Console option with a bootable W2K install CD to use it.

The floppy probably doesn't have the correct boot files on it. Read this. It may be of help.
