I'm having heaps of problems with this.. it all started last night, got a blue screen, nothing was responding so I shut it down. Went to reboot and got the message "NTLDR is missing, ctrl alt del to reboot" I don't have a floppy in the drive, have tried for the last 12 hours loading all sorts of startup disks, best it will come up with is a 98 startup, and then get a A prompt, won't recognise c (hdd) or d (cd) from there. I tried the boot disk with attrib commands, no go, won't recognise c drive. please help, someone.

Create hdimage with the help of a partition, that contains the MS-DOS system files as well as the MS-DOS boot sector.
When being asked during the execution of setup-hdimage, which bootable DOS partition should be used, it is also possible to answer with a partition, that setup-hdimage has not listed as bootable by itself.
It is even possible to specify a floppy drive (/dev/fd0), however you must enter a bootable DOS diskette before, since there will be no delay after you've answered the question. The device will be accessed immediately.
Only the loading instructions from the boot sector and the MS-DOS system files IO.SYS, MSDOS.SYS, COMMAND.COM of the corresponding partition will be used.
See the shell scripts for more.
/var/lib/dosemu/setup-hdimage.rea
/var/lib/dosemu/dexe/mkdexeThese scripts do the real work.
Good Luck
