Everytime I start NTBackup it crashes: "NTBackup has generated errors and will be closed...."
Is there a way to reinstall/repair it? I tried Windows Repair but that did no good.

Are you using the "Backup" program located under Accessories, System Tools? Is there anymore information included with the error? Have you checked the Event Logs?

Re-install it from the Windows CD. Make sure all services needed to run it are up and running and healthy.
