I created a batch file to run my backup each night. But, I cannot get the tape to "eject" after the backup. I tried this line, but it does not work... rsm eject /pf"4mm DDS" Here is my batch file... C:\WINNT\system32\ntbackup.exe backup "@C:\Documents and Settings\Administrator.DOMAIN\Local Settings\Application Data\Microsoft\Windows NT\NTBackup\data\Backup Daily.bks" /n "Full Dell System Backup" /d "Full Dell System Backup" /v:yes /r:no /rs:no /hc:on /m normal /j "Backup Daily" /l:s /p "4mm DDS" /um What do I need to add to this batch to get the tape to eject? Hi there. You need to eject the tape "Full Dell System Backup", not the pool. Like: RSM eject /pf"Full Dell System Backup - 1" /astart See the batch example in MS KB "How to Schedule Unattended Backups Using a Stand-Alone Tape Library (Q239892)". Also make sure you have SP2, since there's been some bugs with ntbackup.exe. My problem is specifying where the log should reside...
