Hi,

I was wondering if anyone could help me in assigning permissions on a
folder to one user (me, the administrator) and a service (the ftp
server).

Presently we have 5 computers in our production studio and we need to
use all of them all the time. The computers on our LAN are 4 PCs and 1
Mac. We need to constantly transfer files that range in size of a few
Kbs to many gigs with various people over the Internet hence, the
easiest way for us was to setup an ftp server. The ftp server works
great and solved our file sharing problems at least until someone
decided on the clean up a hard drive and deleted the ftp server folder.

So, what I wanted was to was assign permissions to one user (the
administer) and to one service (the ftp server). I would like to have
the permissions setup so that all users would be denied the read
attribute to the drive and therefore can't see it but give full control
to the ftp administrator and the ftp service. The server is Firezilla
currently running on Windows 2000.

Anyone have any ideas??? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks

Carl
