Not enough disk space

When I'm trying to install application for win95/98 on win2000 pro but it giving error message:
" There is not enough disk space to install .... . Please free 2118741 KB in the drive C: or select a different drive."
Drive C: have 7.5 Gb free. I know so installation of this application on win2000 is posible - I have other computer with win2000 and this application installed and runing.

try running chkdsk, it might just need to sort out the reporting of the freespace..
