Comment:

I was having trouble with my Nortons antivirus not updating, so I uninstalled Systemworks and tried to reinstall it. When it gets to the antivirus part it says it cannot find "parent.msi" and gives me the option to browse and find it. What is it looking for and were can I find it. It will not let me complete the installation and aborts.

Get rid of Norton. It's more trouble than it's worth.

I know it doesn't answer your question but I agree with don2006.

Get rid of Norton.

If you decide not to, you need to do a search thru the Registry and had drives looking for any remnants opf Norton. It leaves stuff all over the place and you'll have a hard time reinstalling it until you get rid of everything.

Also look for liu*.* files. There are 4 or 5 that must go to reinstall.

NOD32.

Best I've ever used. Small footprint and rock solid.
