Hi
I'm trying to get the user name login screen to have a blank login by exporting the following registry and running in a login script. But the problem is when I do a control/Alt/delete another empty pop-up screen comes up and I have to press ok before I get to the login screen. How do I disable this?
Thanks
Ken

If you're simply trying to fix it so no user name appears in the login box on bootup, you can control that through the local security policy on the PC in question. You don't need to hack the registry at all. Also, if you do it through the LSP, you won't have that other window opening up before the login box.

I agree with Curt, if you've never used it, her'es the step by step:
Start-Run-GPEDIT.MSC
Browse to teh following:
Local Computer Policy
-Windows Settings
--Security Settings
---Local Policies
----Security OptionsFind the item named "Do not display last user name in logon screen"
Double click it, and set it to "Enable", then restart your computer. Fromt hat point on, it should leave it blank.
