Comment:
I updated to explorer 6 from the internet; the taskbar and startup menu disappeared. The flag key will not even show the startup menu. How can I get these back? There is nothing in the control panels; I've reloaded graphic card drives, played with screen resolution. When minimized the windows are off the screen, so, I don't have the ability to maximize. Please help, thanks.

I have tried the windows button and nothing happens - no start menu or taskbar. I'm sorry, what is the repair of IE? How do I do this? I have downloaded and reinstalled the explorer 6.

Can you get into the Safe MOde?
If so, you may have a few more options.
The Bugbear virus will eat your Start button, etc.
