No secondary hard drive after WIN2K SP2

After installing SP2, the WIN2K workstation incorrectly recognizes the secondary 40GB IDE slave hard drive as either "unformatted" or as only 7.88GB. After un-installing SP2, the secondary hard drive is again appropriately recognized and everything works fine... Suggestions?
ok that is weirdest problem i seen. It either a partition problem or you need to try to go from win2k then to sp2 and not install sp1. If you have sp1 previsouly installed the problem could occured. But of course if you went from win2k to sp2 then its a partition problem. go into Disk management and see whats going on. Check for any conflicts.
