No Network ID button

I'm trying to join the domain here but there's no "Network ID" button in my System Properties. Any suggestions?

I'm really sorry for the multiple postings here but just to answer some questions in advance: this computer does have a NIC and is infact serving up web pages on my LAN. I just can't join the domain. Arrrrgh!

is Client for Microsoft Networks installed on that adapter (this would not be necessery for running a web-server, but is essential for Windows-networking)
