Hello,
With my WIN2k sp2 domain that has just been set up I occasionally get an error message when I try to browse 'My Network Places' > Entire Network > MS Win Network > mydomain.
"mydomain is not accessible"
"No more connections can be made to this remote computer at this time because there are already as many connections as the computer can accept"I have checked the Licensing and this is not a problem as I have added extra licenses, it is set up as 'Per seat'. There are only two machines on the network when I get this message.
It is odd as I can still access the server through the mapped network drive that was created.
MS actually have an article saying that it is a "Windows 2000 Executive STATUS error message"... What does this mean....
http://www.microsoft.com/windows2000/techinfo/reskit/en-us/default.asp?url=/WINDOWS2000/techinfo/reskit/en-us/w2000msgs/934.aspI am using an MSDN version of WIN2k Server, could this be the problem.
Thanks for you help
Nash

Yes, MSDN is likely cause. See PSS id number Q179483.
We experience the problem with no apparent cause and Microsofts response is "try again later".
Grant.
