Hi,

I recently removed Microsoft Office start-up in place of installing the entire Microsoft Office Suite.

But now when I start W2k it tells me "(Microsoft Office) This application must be installed to run. Please run setup from the location where you originally installed the application".

I dont remeber where the original install of the application was because it was pre-installed when I bought the computer. Do you know where I can go and tell W2k to no longer look (start-up) for this MS Office application?

Happened to me once before. It's saying MS Office, but it doesnt necessarily mean the entire MS Office suite. If could just as well be one of the components of MS Office.

When I had the error all the application except MS Word operated. I went and did an install on MS Word and it got rid of the message.

Try it.

D
