Hi guys, you have helped once before and I am hoping to really put you to the test with this one.
My problem:
I have win 2k AS set up on one machine and 2 pc's with 2k pro.
When I go into My network Places on my 1st client I can see all 3 machines in there and can access all shalred folders on both other machines without any problems. As can I from Client number 2... The problem starts when i go onto my server.
I can see all 3 machines in there and can access shared folders on Client 2 and The Administrator machine but when I try to look at shared folders on Client 1 it tells me the network path cannot be found.
At first I thought this may be a problem with my Client 1 machine until I discovered that Client 2 can access it, so logically there is nothing wrong with any individual machine and therefore may be somthing wrong with the setup of AD. I don't know what the problem could be as I have set client 1 up EXACTLY the same as client 2.
Any help or information you could supply would be very greatly appreciated.
Also if you feel you need more information please ask as I am sure i have probably missed off soething you need to know where this may ID the problem
Regards
Flessan

If you are in a workgroup, try to install NetBUI on your server and clients and then see if it works..

try to ping one machine to another, see the connection is avail on all the machine, once u have done with it. Then check the workgroup, if still ok, then make u have the microsoft share service install (which come with TCP/IP protocol). Then if u still have problem with it, then
try this in your IE
\\your_computer_ipu should be able to see your machine if u have all the above issue meet.
Hope this help.
