I have connected a computer using Win98 to a Workgroup, and the two computers "see" each other. The problem I'm having is that when I try to log on to the Windows 98 network, it displays a "Enter Network Password" box. How do I reset the workstation password? I don't know what password to use for it. I've tried using the computer name password that I set in Win2000, I've tried using the Administrator password, etc. Nothing works.

So how do I set a password for the computer in the workgroup in order to log on to the network? I'm very confused about this.

Thanks

Hi Nancy,

If its all in a worgroup, setup a same username and password on each machine. Give that a try.
