Basically, i updated my computer to win 2k,
and it works fine except that the ethernet card driver is not installing.
whenever i try to install it, i get an error message saying "the style of INF is different than what was requested"
i tried everything that i could think of.
and it still doesn't work.
i dont understand why.
it worked fine with my other computer with win 2k.
please help!
Thanks

oh, and i'm pretty sure that i got the right driver...

your "pretty sure" that you've got the right driver or you DO have the right driver. I would start there
