Hello, Ususally we send a message to all users in the domain if any of the server is down or up! We use NET SEND [domain] "message" command from the dos prompt. All the computers are runnning WIndows 2000, but the message does not reach everybody. Messenger service is running fine. Does anybody have information, why this happens ? Any help/information would be very helpful Cheers Krishna

Of course it doesn't reach everybody. It reaches all Machines that are ON (logged in) and in the DOMAIN you use in the command line.
If people say they didn't get a notice that could be a billion reasons (other than the actual meesage didn't pop up on the PC)
How do you know it's not reaching ALL logged in PC's that are ON the same Domain.
If it's a user word, thst's not very dependable.
