Hi people,
I hope someone can help me or at least shed some light on my problem.First, I have an LSI Logic 53C810 SCSI card. Its model number is CI - 2520. XP has the default drivers but may I know if there are any updated drivers?
Second, I have an HP SCSI Cd Writer PLUS M820. This is the exact model desciption I see under XP. But the problem is.....when it detects the drive, there are 8 ( EIGHT !!!! ) occurances of the same drive under the DEVICE MANAGER. To make it work under XP, I had to go and disable 7 drives leaving one which will eventually be the drive I will use.
When I used ME or Win2000, everything was ok. It detected normally and installed normally. Why is there a difference? Also i have installed the latest ASPI drivers for XP. Can some one please gimme some suggestions or explanation?
The ultimate solution would be drivers for these 2 devices. Thanks anyway....

Did you check the manufacturer's web sites for updated drivers? Or write their support people and ask them? If not, try both.
If that doesn't work....try driverguide.com
