Need umax 2010u driver for Win 2000

I have a umax astra 2010u scanner. When I had win 98 it worked fine. Now I have win 2000, and the driver does not work. I when to the umax web site, and I guess the only way to get the driver is to Buy one from them. Does anyone have a driver for win 2000 that they would like to share.

I went to the umax site, and it said the 2010u was not compatible with win2k. That usually means they are not going to bother writing drivers for it. Unless you can write device drivers yourself, you may be SOL.

This is umax uk....http://support.umax.co.uk/ go to drivers download and you can download file for astra 2000 or 2100 either one will work with you 2010

Download files from this site: ftp://ftp.umax.com.tw/SUPPORT/SCANNER/PC/Vs355s/. These files will need to be unzipped and placed into the same folder. There is a SETUP file to install this software.
My scanner works better under Windows 2000 than it did under Windows ME.

Also, you may try these drivers:
http://www.umax.com.cn/driver/web_driver/PC/others/WIN2K.exe. These also work on Windows XP.
