for some reason, one of my system files got corupted, and i cannot boot my computer without a blue screen comming up telling me theirs a problem. the thing is that once it gets to the blue screen, it does not let you get any further. what i need is a way that i can format my hd before the operation system starts.

boot from a floppy with the format utility on it.
or if you plan to reinstall you can boot off the windows 2000 disk and it will prompt you to partion and format the disk during installation

I need to Format my external for 9.2 do I need to format my hard drive for my new computer do i need to format my ipod shuffle	i need to format my hardrive but i dont want loose my stuff? i cant access a folder, it says i need to format my disk my pc keeps defaulting to the wrong cpu speed at start up
