Ok, I installed win2k over my win98, this solved some probs but now i don't have enough virtual memory to run alot, and it won't read my printer, I want 98 back, I have 98 installation on a partition and win2k on my main drive, I'm wondering if there is any way for me to get rid of win2k and get my 98 back... can anyone help plz?

Not enought virtual memory? Then why not increase the size of your page file? The recommended size is the amount of your RAM + 12%. If you don't have at least 64 MB RAM, why not buy more RAM? With 128MB RAM, you will find that Windows 2000 is significantly faster and a lot more reliable than Win98.
If you want to get rid of W2K--fdisk, format, reinstall 98. Wouldn't it be easier to add a little more RAM? You can find 64MB RAM on www.pricewatch.com for as little as $28 + shipping.

You can get rid of Win2k by getting a win98 startup disk (you can make one from another machine if you don't have on, control panel-add/remove programs/startup disk). Boot from the startup disk and type fdisk /mbr (that overwrites the master boot record so the computer knows where to find the 98 files only) and after thats finished (it only takes a second) then type sys c: and return (that copies the 98 system files to the c drive. You can then boot to 98 and just delete the winnt folder through explorer. NB: This only works if you dual booted and installed Win2k in a different folder and didn't choose upgrade.
Hope this helps
;-)
