Need network path in search path

I have installed an executable application on a shared network drive. This application needs to access some .dll files in directories that were created during the install, other than where the executable is located. My problem is that when I try to run the program from this network directory, it cannot startup because it can't find the .dll files it needs because it doesn't search through the network directories to find the files.
I can solve the problem for myself by adding the directories needed to my search path. The problem is that we have other users who will also need to use this application and not all of them will know how to update their search paths on their machines. I was hoping to be able to create a batch file that everyone else could execute before they try running the application. In this batch job I would like it to find the drive letter that they had mapped for this shared directory(people have chosen different letters, or else this would be a lot easier), attach the rest of the directory paths needed at the end of this drive letter, and include it in the search path for that computer. Does anyone have any ideas how to do this?
