Whenever I boot, an application called SeCuRe shows up on my task bar. I have no idea what it is or where it comes from. Anybody else experienced this?

There is a chance that you have some spyware on your system. I would suggest that you go to: http://aumha.org/a/noads.htm and an analysis of a number of possible parasites on your machine will be made to help you identify and remove them. NOTE: You might need to disable Ad Blocking in Zone Alarm 3.x, if present or any other Ad Blocking software which interferes with Java Scripting for this scan to work. You should get a message between the two lines of **** giving the results of the scan. You should also run Ad-Aware and SpyBot, both free programs and easily located using Google, to ensure that you have rid yourself of all the spyware. Then see if the message still appears. If it does, download Hijack This, read how to use it, run it and then post your results as a new post. Someone will be able to tell you what needs to be deleted. The site is http://www.spywareinfo.com/~merijn/files/hijackthis.zip See also, HijackThis Quick Start Help, http://www.tomcoyote.org/hjt/ Some feedback of your progress would be great.
