Comment:

This server is on a corporate network and has had some folders go missing from one of it's shared directories. There is no domain running, just peer to peer file sharing. The folders that are missing, presumably deleted, had their permissions set for everyone. I am wondering if their is a way to figure out what the heck happend, such as which user deleted the folders. Any help would be much appreciated.

Thank You.

go to the servers HELP and lookup auditing. You can set auditing on the server and it will tell you who does what.
