In Win2K. Since I install Adobe and choose to open all pictures with Adobe, when I open My Pictures folder, I can't see my thumbnails anymore??? I just see the Adobe icon instead. This may look dumb but can someone help on how to get it back the way he was before.

Oooh yeah - a curly one. Same thing happened to me. Managed to figure it out. Try this. Run "regedit" from the Start -> Run menu. Open HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT Find an extension associated with a picture format (eg: .bmp, .jpg, .tif, .gif etc etc). Check that the following is listed: 1. There should be a sub folder (key) under the picture extension called ShellEx. 2. There should be a sub-folder (key) under the ShellEx folder called: {BB2E617C-0920-11d1-9A0B-00C04FC2D6C1} 3. The Default value for this folder (Key) (in the right hand panel) should be: {1AEB1360-5AFC-11d0-B806-00C04FD706EC}.
This sounds ludicrous I know but I found out the hard way by deleting a picture file association from the FILE TYPES menu in Windows Explorer and created a new file association to use with LView Pro thus losing my thumbnails. By creating a new file association you automatically lose the above-mentioned registry keys.
