my keyboard is messed up....the fun

after installing and de­installing a game on my laptop, my Keyboard is totally messed up ­ it types 1 2 3 instead of j k l, and 6 instead of o, and so on... i reinstalled the keyboard driver, but to no avail -who can help?

Run an updated antivirus program.

I suggest going to the Trend Micro site and using their free online scanner.

Maybe you depressed a function key or something that activated an embedded keypad function that many laptops use.

Hold down a key labeled Fn (the printing will be a different color than the rest of the keys printing, and it will be in between Ctrl and Alt), and find a key with "Num Lk" or "Num Lock" in the same color as Fn. Press it. Problem solved.
