My disk is spinning like crazy

Hi,

My disk is spinning like crazy

Used Avast antivirus and adaware no success

I see that svchost.exe is taking all my CPU performance

What can this Be??? Do i need to reinstall???

auto defrag engaged? if you disable your internet connection does it stop?

Hi:

Please do a google search of "svchost.exe". Lots of reading material. Also, it will lead you to a so called "fix" you can download.

Hi I found out that the following service is causing the problem

Background Intelligent Transfer Service

If I stop this service or the internet connection the spinning stops

that is a ligit service

autoupdate enabled on your ms patches, antivirus, spyware checker?

google it for more info

I stopped the service and disabled it every thing seems fine now
