I've got a user, when they double click on the My Computer Icon they get an error message about explorer.exe has generated errors, windows will be shutdown. So the screen refreshes. Usually happens every other time you double click My Computer Icon.

The name of it has not been changed.
System configuration Windows 2000 w/ SP@2 and IE 5.5 SP2

Any tips and suggestions would help. I tried logging as different users, and still get the same results.

Try installing IE 6.0 and maybe reinstalling the Service Pack 2 for Windows. And take a look at your Event Viewer to see if anything has been logged......
