ok my computer will freeze up if i leave it on. I have changed my power settings to never shut the hard disk off and the monitor as well. Could i have a software conflict. I tried shutting down all of my programs and my machine still freezes up. Any help would be appreciated.

Check your 'Event Viewer' (application, security, system) to see if any is going on.

Check your Processes and Performance tabs in your Task Manager to see what may be going on when your machine is 'idle'.
