Hi, I have a big Problem with my Server. I have for lots of month one DVD from Pionneer in my Server... But I'am Return this to put in my Workstation, than I hav put my Old CD Writer (LiteOn Write12x Read 40x) in the Server in my Workstation have the Writer very fin working. But in my Server no Working more ... I have Deltree lots of Regedit dirs and files, the Server run but the Writer no! In my Explorer stay the CD Rom but put one CD in the Writer and go in the Explorer tha he Say Pleas put one CD! it´s Unitreess what CD in the Writer ... I have testet Windows CD Musik CD an others but No Working! I Can not find the Problem can you help me?? I have not install the Roxio Cd Creator!!!!!!

Perhaps you need a specific driver instead of the one provided by Windows? Andrés

No, i have no install are Special Driver... The drives are detctet by Windows...

That's the idea. Windows may detect your CD drive, but only partially because your model may have some differences. A specific driver would enable Windows to fully handle it. Andrés
