Hey all,

I'm having problems with the sound on a Win 2K machine-I don't hear anything. I looked under Device Manager and found that Multimedia Audio controller was listed under the "Other Devices" tree. It says that no drivers are currently installed for the controller, and an attempt to re-install the drivers yielded nothing. Any advice? Oh, and how can I find out the manufactuer of my sound card? As usual, thanks in advance to all who reply.
