I noticed in the Task Manager's process list there is this thing named mspmspsv.exe running. Does anybody have any idea of what the hell it is?

All what I know about it is that it's related to the SBLive sound drivers. It's actually a windows service that is called "WMDM PMSP Service", but I have no clue what it does.

I'm running Win2K Pro, SBLive! Value.

WMDM PMSP has started popping up in the task list after I installed and uninstalled Windows Media Player 7 (which was really useless for Win2000) I also use SBLive!Value.

I also use SBLive!Value. So i think we can think mspmspsv.exe is vital for it.
