hi all,
i'v installed msn messneger 6.2 in my office but it wont connect..therez an http proxy server and i have tried changing the connection settings in all possible ways but still it is not connecting and saying internet connection not found... the OS is Windows 2000 SP 4..same with yahoo messenger.. but i 'v seen a few colleages use messengers..wt to do??

depending on which proxy software is being used, i believe ISA stops the use of MSN.

they either have another proxy address to use, or they use a direct connection out to the internet. ensure you are typing in the correct port number, e.g. 8080
