Do you have a pop-up blocker?
You can get them free at Downloads.com (CNET) or try webattack.com, i'm not sure whats the best out there. Stopzilla is one popup blocker I've heard of.
Another good tip - GET THE FREE SOFTWARE
SPYBOT Search and Destroy. It's awesome!
