I have bought a MS-6318 (v5.x) recently and it supports AGP 4X. In the BIOS, it says AGP 4X is enabled. So, there's no problem with the motherboard for running AGP 4X cards.
I also bought a MSI GeForce 4 MX 400 64 Mo DDR AGP 4X Tv-Out video card. This card is said to support AGP 4X. I bought both MSI motherboard and video card to get maximum performance. Never had problems with MSI problems neither.
The problem is when I look at the properties of my video card, it says it's running only at 2X. I want to get the maximum it can give me since I play many video games.
Follow this link to see my video card properties. I see AGP 1X, 2X, 4X and 8X in the list, but can't select 4X at all.

Am I loosing performance? Do I have do install some special motherboard and/or video drivers?
If someone needs some extra info to help me out, please post in, I'll keep an eye on that post.
Thanks all

Yes, I bought a GeForce 4 MX 440 and she's doing well. I am able to run Unreal II in 1024 * 768 with all details at max and it runs fine, BUT I want extra FPS since I know I can get more because it only runs in AGP 2X, and I know I can (technically speaking) make it run at 4X.
Anyone has a better reply than Craig?
Thanks
