MS backup SystemState Problem

When i try to make a backup of the system state of the laptopW2K the program only backups ca 28 MB (with my desktop it is 200MB and that it should be) I cannot find how i should change this (to 200MB) if i get "the systemstate screen"
i get : Boot Files,COM + Class Registry Database and Registry :
when i try to select one of them : by right clicking : this doesnot work (deselecting als doesnot function)
