how do I deal with a "recordset not updateable" error in MS Access 2000 when I try to update a form?

No, it is not and I have more information.
SELECT [Employee Name].[ID], [Continents].[Continent], [Employee Name].[Continents_ID], [Countries].[Country], [Employee Name].[Countries_ID], [Countries].[Notes], [Departments].[Department], [Employee Name].[Departments_ID], [Employee Name].[Last Name], [Employee Name].[First Name], [Employee Name].[Initials], [Employee Name].[Function/Title], [Employee Name].[Percentage], [Employee Name].[Location], [Employee Name].[Reports To], [Employee Name].[Left Company], [Employee Name].[Date], [Employee Name].[Comment], Sum([Employee Name].[Percentage]) AS SPER, Count([Employee Name].[Last Name]) AS cntnm
FROM (([Employee Name] LEFT JOIN Continents ON [Employee Name].[Continents_ID]=[Continents].[ID]) LEFT JOIN Departments ON [Employee Name].[Departments_ID]=[Departments].[ID]) LEFT JOIN Countries ON [Employee Name].[Countries_ID]=[Countries].[ID]
GROUP BY [Employee Name].[ID], [Continents].[Continent], [Employee Name].[Continents_ID], [Countries].[Country], [Employee Name].[Countries_ID], [Countries].[Notes], [Departments].[Department], [Employee Name].[Departments_ID], [Employee Name].[Last Name], [Employee Name].[First Name], [Employee Name].[Initials], [Employee Name].[Function/Title], [Employee Name].[Percentage], [Employee Name].[Location], [Employee Name].[Reports To], [Employee Name].[Left Company], [Employee Name].[Date], [Employee Name].[Comment]
HAVING ((([Employee Name].[Left Company])=0));

Unfortunately, you haven't supplied the correct information. Is the dataset you're using in your form from queries? Do you have your relationships set up properly? What is the setting on your Recordset Field in your Form? Can you provide a little more detail?

Dear Friend,
Goto properties of Form. Change the "Recordset Type" property as "Dynaset (inconsistent updates).
