moving email drafts

what is the best (easiest) method to move saved outlook express 6 email "drafts" from a w2k computer to an xppro computer using the same email account? thanks,

I forget if w2k used .mbx files or not. Search for a file called drafts.mbx

i found a Drafts.dbx file, but don't know what program to use to open it.

I've opened them in notepad if they weren't too big. Otherwise, try wordpad.

Here is what I would try. Create a new folder on the W2k computer desktop. Open OE to the drafts folder showing all your drafts. Highlight them and drag them into the new folder on the desktop.
Copy the new folder to a removable flash drive and put the drive into the XP computer. Then reverse the above procedure to drag the drafts from the opened new folder on the removable drive into the drafts folder.
At least that has worked for me.

Are you using Outlook Express on the other computer? If you are, just copy the draft.dbx folder from your profile to external media and replace the existing one on the other machine.
