Hi,

I want to move the location of the "Document and Settings" folder to the D drive ie non system drive. I changed some setting in the registry which appears to make it work only I'm having other problems with my registry because of this so I will have to back it out.

Does anyone know how to do this?

Thanks in advance,
JP

you may not be able to as there are so many sbdirectories that windows uses (and many other programs like Outlook for pst and pab files). It is likely much more trouble than it is worth.

You may have already seen this article during your quest - but if not should help.

Gives three options - specify a different folder at install, move for specific user, move all. (the last sounds a bit iffy and long winded)
