Is there a Win2000 Pro version of the neat Windows Movie Maker that is available in XP?
Please!!!! I just upgraded, HA, to Windows 2000 Pro and can not find that dang program anywhere for 2000 pro!!
There is a way to extract Movie Maker from the Windows XP CD-ROM, but you'll need the Windows XP CD and dig into the cryptic file structure to find it. Other than that, it also costs $249 to buy Windows XP (full edition); you'll then be just better off upgrading to XP. However, there are a number of 3rd party excellent movie maker software. I recommend going to theSoftlookup Archive for Windows. There are many good movie-making programs available there, some of which are free (but they may be legacy versions).
