Mouse problem + HSP Modem & primax PROFI 19600 drivers for WIN2K

Have a M748LMRT board, built-in HSP modem with P-II, 366. ever since i installed win 2K, my mouse is not being detected at all. a PCI simple communication device is detected after every boot, ask for the driver and displays error. HSP modem setup for NT installs the device and it works also, but mouse seems missing. device conflict ruled out. Have a primax profi19600 scanner, setup program ends in success, yet the device is not detected by win2K.

Hello, I have the same problem that Tariq has. My Windows2000 detect a Simple PCI device, but I can't find the driver for this one, and the modem HSP56MicroModem can't be installed. Any can help us ??? Thanks a lot.

To *find* your mouse again, try removing comm1 and reboot Win2K Not sure about this, but it works for me
Summary: Try www.56k.com. they have modem drivers for most types of modem. I know they have drivers for rockwell modems as that's where I got mine from :)...
