Subject: Mouse cursor freezes and skips
OS: windows 2000
CPU/Ram: Pentium III 800/128

Whenever I move my mouse cursor around, it frequently freezes and skips to where it would have been had it not frozen. I'm using an HP omnibook laptop with a factory HP version of windows 2000. It has worked fine on this computer in the past and is also a fresh install with no other apps. The touch pad, external mouse, as well as the track stick causes this to happen. Any help is appreciated

Here are a few things to do....

Besure there is no spyware.

Defrag the drive...

Add more RAM..
