modified dates are messed up

My dates in my computer are messed up. It should show 2/25/05, but shows 25/2/05. any ideas how I can fix this???? thank you

Go to Control Panel and open Regional Options. Click on the Date tab and pick the format you want from the Short Date options. Cheers- You may not have time to search the Internet for your answer. Well, sorry, I may not either.
