I don't have the hibernation tab in the power options properties on my laptop. It was there right before I reloaded the OS. In Device Manager under computer, it shows "Advanced Configuration and Power Interface (ACPI) PC". So it appears that the OS is recognizing the hardware as having power management features. The BIOS really doesn't have an option to turn off or on power management. I'm not sure why it's there. I have reloaded the OS twice and it's still not showing the tab. It's not a big deal, but it's a feature I would like to and should have on the system. Any help would greatly be appreciated.

Go to this website and download the battery software you find for you model and see if it gives you the hibernate option.
