Missing file in system32

When I start up windows 2000 AS, a message is displayed to ask me to copy ntoskrnl.exe file to System32 folder and then my computer is halt.
Please tell me how to copy that file.

that is the net technology operating system kernel file.

do you have sp 3. check the service pack 3 posts if you do.
